short program description

China doesn't have a governmentally defined au pair program, but over the last years a kind of au pair program also starts to become common in China.

The au pair program in China is designed for young foreigners, who would like to look after children and teach them English at home, experience a totally different life and share their culture with the host family, while learning the Chinese language, meeting with new people and discovering the real China.

Most host families expect the au pair to take the role of an older brother or sister to the host kid and create a foreign atmosphere for the host family.

All information about China is provided by James Wu from our partner agency iCXC.
