Are au pairs able to travel on the weekends or at least have the weekends to themselves?

Unless the parents work on the weekends of course

Hello Jessica,

it depends on the country where you are going as an au pair. In most of the countries the au pair has the right to at least 2 days off per week, but not necessarily on the weekends.
