What are my chances as a male au pair to find host families??
Is there no place for a male au pair anywhere? Because it seems no one is interested in male au pair especially a black is pair from African extract.

Hi Johnson,
put bluntly, your chances are unfortunately really small. But they aren't zero, if you understand the two reasons behind it and adapt your search accordingly:
- Most families search for female au pairs - see also these two posts for tipps how to find a family as a male au pair
- At least in Germany (and I suspect also in other countries) visa applications for au pairs from Africa take very very long (several months) and there's a rather high risk they aren't granted after all (if authorities suspect that after being an au pair you will try to stay in Germany, they in general refuse the visa) - see also these posts for tipps how it can still work out
